美国联邦酒精及烟草税务贸易局9月20日发布公告，提议在加州帕索罗布ava产区现有的612，000英亩葡萄种植区内建立11个子产区。
分别是：adelaida district、creston district、el pomar district、paso robles estrella district、paso robles geneseo district、paso robles highlands district、paso robles willow creek district、san juan creek、san miguel district、santa margarita ranch和templeton gap district。
帕索罗布法定产区委员会此前曾向ttb同时提交了11份请愿书。该委员会是当地的葡萄酒行业组织，其59家会员拥有或管理着帕索罗布约10，000英亩的葡萄园。
关于这项提案的讨论在2014年1月21日前结束。
